5 Days Alleppey Kovalam Itinerary
Day 1: Cochin - Alleppey (53 km/ 1 hr 30 min-approx.)
On your arrival in Cochin, meet the Indian Holiday representative, and later, continue your drive towards Alleppey - one of the most well-known backwater destinations in Kerala. You will get an assisted transfer to your pre-booked luxury houseboat. After completing the check-in, enjoy the comforts of the houseboat, well-adorned with all contemporary facilities.
After unwinding, you can explore the paddy fields, coconut groves, and villages; spot the colorful birds, and so on, while the houseboat is cruising on the serene backwaters. Then, relish the authentic Kerala food prepared by the chef accompanying you.

Day 2: Alleppey - Quilon (95 km/2 hr- approx.)
Wake up early in the houseboat and add this unique experience to your travel memories. Next, you will enjoy breakfast and start your journey to Quilon (Kollam). Once you arrive, check-in at your pre-booked hotel. You can freshen up and rest for a while. This second day of your Alleppey and Kovalam tour is scheduled for visiting prime tourist attractions such as Thevally Palace, Alumkadavu Boat Building Yard, Palaruvi Falls, Thangassery Beach, etc. After visiting these tourist places, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Day 3: Quilon - Kovalam (78 km/ 2 hr-approx.)
Rise and shine in the morning and munch your breakfast in your hotel room. After breakfast on day 3 of the Alleppey Kovalam tour, get transferred to Kovalam. Upon arrival at your pre-booked hotel, complete the check-in and go sightseeing. The list of attractions of the day includes Kovalam's famous beaches, such as Lighthouse, Samudra, and Hawa beach.
In addition, you can indulge in water sports activities on the beach. Once you have covered all these attractions, you will return to your hotel, have dinner, and enjoy a peaceful sleep on your comfy beds.
Day 4: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Wake up early and enjoy your breakfast in your hotel room. After finishing your meal, you will take a journey to Kanyakumari. This day is fully dedicated to enjoying the sightseeing in Kanyakumari. You will explore the popular Vivekananda Rock Memorial and other famous temples. In the evening, return to the hotel in Kovalam for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Kovalam - Trivandrum (18 km / 40 mins)
Post breakfast, leave for Trivandrum. On arrival, begin the city excursion covering the prime tourist attractions such as the City Museum, Shri Chitra Art Gallery, and Padmanabha Swamy Temple. Later, get an assisted transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
