Summer in Madhya Pradesh (April to June)
MP is the largest state in India and it's no wonder that weather and climate also vary in extremes. Summer arrives late in March and the weather gets really hot during the day time. This is the time to head to the hills. Pachmarhi is one of the most popular summer destinations in summer.
If you are in for tiger spotting at one of the wildlife sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh, March till June is the best time to do so. Head to Bandhavgarh, Kanha or Pench National Park to catch the royal predator at one of the watering holes to seek respite from the heat.

During winters, mercury level drops to as low as 5 degrees. During the day, the sun is milder and the weather remains pleasant, making it the best time for local sightseeing tours.

Cities like Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior are best visited during winters. Wildlife is yet another popular theme for the winter holidays in Madhya Pradesh.
